Jennifer Deann Scott is crossing lines between rock, industrial, pop, and dance music. Remixing popular melodies into unique, and often epic, arrangements ranging from a-ha to Nine Inch Nails to Lady Gaga and original compositions, the high energy violinist, vocalist, and producer creates aurally and visually engaging experiences with dance beats accompanied by light projection unique to the venue.
Jennifer Deann Scott is a solo performance artist based in the Denver Metro Area, originally from Seattle, WA, comprised of electric violin and/or acoustic violin with effects pedals, vocals, produced backing tracks, and staged lighting. She has been performing for over 20 years across seven states with a variety of performance groups ranging from orchestra to country to EDM. She is a classically trained graduate of music conservatories including University of Idaho’s Lionel Hampton School of Music and University of Colorado at Boulder’s College of Music. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance with Minors in Vocal and Dance Performance, and a Master of Music in Music Composition.
Jennifer has performed at Denver’s The Grizzly Rose, Boot Barn Hall, Mile High Stadium, Gaylord Rockies Resort, Denver Botanic Gardens, Winter Park Amphitheater, Larkspur Renaissance Festival, various venues across Vail and Winter Park, headlined major festivals throughout Colorado and surrounding states including but not limited to National Western Stock Show, Summit Music Series, Cherry Creek Arts Festival, Lonetree Arts Center, Lakewood Cultural Center, Ute Theater, to name a few. She has collaborated with Buckstein, RadioBand, Premium Diesel, Caitlyn Ocshner Band, LoungeBeats, Matt Marcum (award-winning off-Broadway vocal performance artist), Twenty Hands High, The Country Music Project, Indigent Row Celtic Rock Band, Nick Lynch Band, Niwot Symphony Orchestra, among others. She also performed for The Walt Disney Company in Florida at E.P.C.O.T. as violinist and actress.
In addition to music performance, Jennifer loves working with students and has taught ear training and theory of music at the University of Colorado, private violin lessons at the Community College of Aurora, and serves currently as the Student Success Coordinator at the Colorado Film School where she coordinates, and responds to, the many concerns of its students, faculty, and staff where she also volunteers time acting in student productions. She hopes her performances inspire young artists to be creative and entrepreneurial in their studies.
